If you’re like me and believe that freshly baked bread, croissants, & muffins are some of the great joys of life –I have the perfect hotel for you. Praktik Bakery Hotel in Barcelona pairs a bustling and popular bakery in the lobby with 74-minimalist rooms done by designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán. Waking up to the scent of freshly baked bread from the Baluard Bakery sounds like heaven–Paleo peeps you should probably find a different hotel.
I have mixed feelings about subway tile in a hotel room as it seems a little cold, but the bathroom tiles could not be cooler. Way to bring back octagonal tiles. Plus the burst of color and subtle pattern against an all white room would be something to recreate at home. The bathroom tiles were custom for the hotel by the designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán design company.
