French Argentine Chic at House of Jasmines

Want to clear your head for a bit in one of the most scenic regions in the world? Head to House of Jasmines Estancia de Charme, a sweet and romantic 100 year old hotel in Salta, Argentina.

On 270 acres of land at the foothills of the Andes, this 10-room hotel looks so incredibly peaceful and serene. Rose and vegetable gardens, eucalyptus trees and  blossoming Jasmine surround the Relais & Chateaux property which features a small pool, a spa, and a restaurant featuring local cuisine.

The hotel is owned by the Fenestraz family who are members of a family of French hoteliers.(It was previously owned by actor Robert Duvall). In the interiors of the hotel, you can see the mix of classic French design with laid-back Argentine style. In the pic above,  a French sofa is covered by a vibrant Alpaca blanket. In the below suite, Louis XVI leather covered dining chairs share space with local red wool pillows and sweeping views of the Salta mountain range.

How stunning is this headboard? Two vibrant green blankets are all it takes to energize the neutral space. Such an easy, budget friendly idea as colored throws can be swapped out with the seasons. Amazon.com has some terrific alpaca wool blankets here.

Against clay walls, the classic wing chairs are a perfect mix of rustic and refined.

Perfect….

Enjoy!
