I love a great hotel bar. The ones are where even the locals want to hang out at. This summer Gilligan’s at the Soho Grand is that spot in NYC. I checked out the beach-themed alfresco pop-up for Refinery29 and decided it was going to my summer night go-to.  The vibe is very laid-back with picnic tables, deck chairs, and kitschy tropical decor (think mermaids and hanging bananas). Just the place to have a mini vacation in the middle of Manhattan. Open through September. Here are a few images from the hotel and then a few of my own snaps. Definitely stop by if you are in NYC this summer.
