One of my closest friends just took a job in Mauritius and from the pictures I’ve seen, the idyllic island in the Indian Ocean is heaven on earth. Talk about a dream gig! Sometimes high end beachfront resorts have interiors that are too posh for the beach. After all, if you’re doing it right you should be trekking in from the sand and sea so you don’t want spaces that feel too pristine. Except for the rug, this living area perfectly straddles the line between glam and beachy.

Amazing.
