At the Quirk Hotel in Richmond, Virginia the guest rooms are pink. Not the saccharine sweet pink of a little girl’s room, but a pink that feels a little more grown-up, a little more downtown. If you love the color, but are over the age of 12, it’s a perfect example of how to pull it off as an adult. This pink has cool tones, maybe a touch of coral/peach. The paint color is Benjamin Moore’s Love & Happiness.
The hotel was formerly Richmond’s first department store build in 1916. The owners worked with 3north architects and POESIS design for over eight years to turn the buidling into a 74-room property that is a hybrid of art gallery and hotel. Definitely check it out.
