Vogue’s Holiday Gift Guide featured this lovely gift idea–Suite Bleue, one of two treehouse rooms at La Piantata Bed & Breakfast in Arlena di Castro, Italy. Nestled in a century-old oak tree with views of lavender fields, an olive grove, and the mountains in the distance is probably one of the most romantic hotel rooms ever.  The B&B is set in the countryside between Tuscany and Rome. La Piantata features an 18th-century farmhouse, 4 rooms and 4 apartments. The working farm sells organic lavender honey, olive oil, and lavender beauty products in addition to being a B&B.
