One of my favorite design hotels in my new book Hotel Chic at Home is the Hotel Providence in Paris. Each of the 18 rooms in the Montmartre district of Paris feature richly patterned wallpaper and vintage furniture. Although the papers are new, many, like the Palmeral House of Hackney paper shown above, create a vintage, almost Victorian/Boho backdrop. If you live in an older space and or just want to add some drama, check out these rooms.
It almost looks as if the room is wrapped in a gorgeous woven carpet, but it’s actually Mey Meh wallpaper from House of Hackney. The intricate geometric print was inspired by the pattern of a 17th century woven rug.
Inferno wallpaper from House of Hackney is an Art Deco inspired botanical fern print. Love the moody vibe. This would also be amazing in a hallway or foyer.
Another House of Hackney print in the restaurant. This is Poppium in Ebony.
